Photographer Mark Trent spent eight years documenting the life of his friend, Allie Rambo, as she battled addiction to opioids in his native West Virginia county of Greenbriar. Morrigan worked with Mark to edit the work, then produced a story for The New York Times for which she received two 2019 Pictures of the Year International Awards: Online News & Issue Reporting, Visual Editing Award of Excellence and third place in Print Newspaper Visual Editing.
